The Wanderer : Serge Devant

Serge Devant's highly anticipated album "The Wanderer" available in stores and online June 1st.

A long-player is no small step for any producer, and what makes it harder is breaking out of expected boundaries. Black Hole Sun remake

Ever since I was a kid I’v loved this tune and to my surprise, no one has ever touched, remixed or remade this rock classic. So I had to take it upon myself to unleash this timeless record into the modern world. To add to the package, I decided, why not re-edit the video as well. (I miss the videos from back in the 90s, what an era that was! They don’t make videos like that anymore.)

Serge Devant : The Wanderer / China

Hello everyone, so here’s the brand new look for my portal, there are links to the album sampler and all the social networking sites connect here. I wanted to add a little spice to the site, so it’s a bit more interesting and you guys can get to know more about me and my travels.

I always shoot little movies when I travel, as my friends always bugged me to tell them stories on how things are on the road. So I decided, why not edit all these videos into a little short clip where you can experience the fun that you can have on some of these trips.
This video was shot in China, while I was there for one day, in a city that’s located on the bank of the West Lake. I went there with my buddy Tim who was traveling with me on that tour. We accomplished a lot in that one day, and explored quite a bit of that great city, from checking out the Emperor’s summer getaway, to seeing China’s own panda bear, and of course finishing the night off with a fun night at the club…watch it for yourself, and enjoy. I’ll try to take and upload videos as soon as I can, or at least once every 3-4 weeks, and talk about what has happened in the past few days.

Serge Devant

So far Serge has already graced the prestigious Top 100 Poll, been a resident of Crobar in New York, had sponsorship deals with Coca‐Cola and Armani, been involved with the Beijing 2008 Olympics… and that’s just the tip of the iceberg!

Having played pretty much all of the world’s most prestigious venues Serge’s passion for performing is stronger than ever. His sound is hard to pigeon hole, by why would we want to… it’s high octane, very addictive and gets the kind of response you’d expect from someone with such talent.

His beautiful blends of breath-taking vocal pieces and tight production skills have seen him release a slew of top-notch tracks. Like so many other top DJ’s, it takes one big track to shoot to new heights, for Serge it was his cover of The Beloved’s ‘Sweet Harmony’. It received worldwide acclaim from everyone that matters, from Radio 1, to DJ’s at the highest level and his next single has all the hallmarks of doing the same.

“Addicted” is already receiving airplay from some of the worlds biggest radio stations like Radio 1, Kiss FM and Sirius, and has been tagged as “Record of the week” in the U.K – the sky is seemingly is reachable and then beyond, and all this the perfect lead-up to the bomb that is about to drop…

This year sees the release of Serge’s debut album ‘Wanderer’ on Ultra Records; a cinematic piece of work that showcases the amazing talent Devant has to offer. Collaborating with some of the industries most sublime vocalists such as Nadia Ali, Emma Hewitt and Hadley to name a few , the album is nothing short of stunning and is grabbing attention from every corner.
